TITO’S HANDMADE VODKA ENTERS THE ARENA AS THE OFFICIAL VODKA SPONSOR OF THE WOMEN’S RODEO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) is thrilled to announce a significant partnership. Tito’s Vodka, a renowned brand, will now be the Official Vodka Partner of the 2024 Women’s Rodeo World Championship. This partnership is set to make a substantial impact on the World’s Richest Women’s Rodeo, extending to broadcast, a gala, and a discipline sponsorship.
“Given what the WRWC has already done and what they are planning to elevate the women’s side of our sport, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and I are honored to begin this partnership,” said Mary Ann Miller, with Tito’s Vodka. “I’m thankful to have found both an organization that wants to provide opportunities for us, and a company like Tito’s that wants to support women in rodeo, just because they can.”
As WRWC’s Official and Exclusive Vodka Sponsor, Tito’s will activate a range of assets, including the Tito’s WRWC Post-Show Wrap-Up, TV-visible arena signage, custom content on WRWC digital channels, the title sponsor of the Welcome Gala and the team roping discipline sponsor.
“One reason we love Tito’s is their commitment to sports partnerships and investment in women’s rodeo,” said Linsay Rosser Sumpter, WRWC Commissioner. “The resources, thought, and activation they bring to the table benefit everyone involved. We’re excited to embed the Tito’s brand into the fabric of WRWC through a holistic portfolio of assets across this premier women’s rodeo platform. “
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is America’s Original Craft Vodka. In 1995, Bert “Tito” Beveridge obtained the first legal permit to distill in Texas and created Tito’s Handmade Vodka. They batch distill our corn-based vodka using old-fashioned pot stills and the vodka is naturally Gluten-Free. Tito’s Handmade Vodka is distilled and bottled by Fifth Generation Inc. in Austin, Texas on the very same land where the whole venture started.
The welcome gala will feature the Back Number Ceremony, which will be presented by COWGIRL Magazine. This ceremony assigns a back number to each contestant who qualifies for the WRWC. The back number is assigned based on the contestant’s WRWC Leaderboard Rank, which they earned through nominated competition efforts at events from April 2023 until April 2024.
“We are delighted to sponsor the back number ceremony for the 2024 WRWC Athletes,” says Ken Amorosano, COWGIRL Magazine Publisher. “It is an incredible time for women in Western sports and we are proud to be among the industry supporters who recognize this powerful force and the role they play in the overall Western way of life.”
The WRWC is the biggest annual purse for a women’s rodeo event. It is a joint effort between the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and the WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance). The event is set to crown World Champions in the Women’s Rodeo disciplines such as Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, and Barrel Racing, while also crowning an all-around world champion. The competition is set to pay out more than $750,000 in 2024.
Fans will be able to watch the action daily and the Tito’s WRWC Post-Show Wrap-Up Show on Cowgirl Channel, Cowboy Channel, Cowboy Channel + App and PBR RidePass on Pluto TV. The landmark event’s Championship Round on May 18 from AT&T Stadium will then be featured LIVE on CBS Sports Network during the telecast for the PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Championship.
Since launching in May 2020, the WRWC has awarded more than $3 million in new money to women’s rodeo athletes. For more information about the WRWC visit wrwc.rodeo.
