HOW TO EARN A SPOT
The world championship event is open to any biological female athlete over the age of 13 years old competing in breakaway roping, barrel racing, and/or team roping. The WRWC is a culmination of a year-long race of women’s rodeo events held worldwide. Athletes qualify for the WRWC by earning points and leaderboard positions using the VRQ (Virtual Rodeo Qualifier) or through select Qualifier Series events.
EARN A SPOT THROUGH THE LEADERBOARD
-Participate in the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ)-
Nominate your efforts and earn points through the VRQ to earn a spot on the 2024 Women’s Rodeo World Championship Leaderboard. Nominations close April 14, 2024. To participate in the WRWC, an athlete needs to register as a user in the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ). No membership dues or fees are required.
QUALIFIER SERIES EVENTS
Athletes can earn a generic qualification to the WRWC by participating in Qualifier Series events. The Qualifier Series is a string of events held prior to the 2024 WRWC where athletes who nominate and place in the top spot in their respected discipline at the qualifier will earn a generic qualification to the 2024 WRWC.
