FAST TRACK QUALIFIERS

–ALL FAST TRACK QUALIFIERS WILL BE EXPANDED POINTS TO 20–

Up to 16 athletes per discipline (8 Pro & 8 Challenger) can earn a Fast Track Qualifier (FTQ) through select events. All athletes that earn a FTQ competition position will be eligible to participate in the Fast Track Round for their respective Leaderboard (Pro or Challenger). The top four from each Leaderboard Fast Track Pool will earn a spot in the WRWC Progressive Round.

Any athletes advancing from the FTQ round will not be required to pay an entry fee. Athletes are eligible to earn more than one FTQ in a discipline.

Advancing positions out of the fast track pool will be based on the total number of FTQ positions coming into the event.

WHAT ARE EXPANDED POINTS?

At all Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) Fast Track Qualifier (FTQ) events, expanded VRQ points will be used.

The expanded points format events will award VRQ points beyond the final paid position in a round or aggregate up to 20 positions. Athletes must have recorded a qualified time in a round of competition to earn VRQ points.

All FTQ Events will be VRQ Expanded Points to 20.

NEW! 4D FORMAT FOR BARREL RACING

The new 4D format creates opportunities for more athletes to earn points, money and prizes.

1D winners in the Open & Challenger Sidepot will receive a Fast Track Qualification.

2D, 3D & 4D winners will receive free entry fees* to the 2021 Women’s Rodeo World Championship.
*For athletes that fall outside the top 30 on the Open/Pro or Challenger Leaderboards, this is a savings of $1,000.

The Open 4D will award expanded points to 40 places. The Challenger Sidepot will award expanded points to 20 places.
